In the lobby, a fabric dome suspended above the light well creates a floating, aerial presence. The textile mouldings compose an almost immaterial sculpture — at once a tribute to this artisanal past and a contemporary architectural statement.
A dialogue of contrasts
Set against this lightness, massive stone blocks cradle carved seats with generous curves. The opposition is deliberate: heavy and light, mineral and textile, the immutable and the ephemeral.
The bamboo canopy
From the very first step inside, the eye is drawn upward by a spectacular structure: a bamboo canopy rising over ten metres. Sourced from a forest in Osaka, the bamboo is treated using an ancestral Japanese technique that gives it a deep, warm tone. A singular piece — at once raw and masterfully crafted.
The ceiling: a surface in motion
In the lobby, a suspended latex ceiling undulates gently. A living material, it restores a sense of verticality to the space, transforming the volume into a forest vault and dissolving familiar spatial markers.
An immersive world
Every detail here evokes a reimagined forest. Terrariums and planted features structure the spaces like natural undergrowth. The furniture, with its floral and vivid accents, contrasts with the raw material of the bamboo. Each element reveals the hand of the craftsman: visible seams, deliberate joints, honest finishes.

A language of its own
At the heart of the lobby, an alphabet of 22 symbols imagined by the founders. Hand-carved in volcanic stone by skilled artisans, it tells a story and is inscribed into the walls of the space — an echo of the Haussmannian stone outside.
A light that evolves
A circadian totem in backlit stone accompanies the day. Its light shifts from morning to evening — brighter at the start, softer as the day draws to a close — following the body's natural rhythm.
The barista, at the heart of the space
This is where Kwerk's barista offering takes shape. Stationed behind a wall of hand-shaped salt bricks from Indonesia, the barista is central to the atmosphere of the space — simple and quietly calming.
An approach inspired by the living world
Here, nature is fully woven into the space. Natural light, greenery and raw materials create a more breathing environment — one that changes the way you work and the way you feel.
A bold architectural gesture
The lobby's skylight extends onto the walls, whose lines echo its triangular patterns. From this structure, a botanical library takes shape. Present since the earliest days of Kwerk, the library finds a new form here, drawn from the vocabulary of the natural world.
Details that speak
Hand-woven chairs sourced from Nigerian craft communities pay tribute to the founders' origins. The furniture, deliberately eclectic, blends leather and velvet, upright and more relaxed postures. Every passage through the lobby offers a different reading of the space.
